About Livetec
Founded in 2010 by agricultural engineer Julian Sparrey and Gordon Samet, Livetec was established to help livestock producers respond effectively to disease outbreaks and strengthen biosecurity across the sector. Over the past 15 years, the company has supported farmers, integrators and industry partners through some of the most significant disease challenges facing UK agriculture, delivering practical expertise in emergency response, contingency planning and on-farm biosecurity. Today, Livetec combines this operational experience with innovative digital tools, including the Livestock Protect platform, helping producers move from reactive crisis management to proactive disease prevention and preparedness. Trusted by thousands of farmers and organisations, Livetec continues to work across pig, poultry and wider livestock sectors to safeguard animal health, protect food production and strengthen resilience against emerging disease threats.

Our mission
Our mission is to build, develop, and maintain exceptional working relationships with the UK’s leading agricultural organisations to transform the existing farming sector and create a more resilient industry.

We believe that the key to transforming the farming sector is through bringing best practise behaviours and proactive approaches to the forefront of day-to-day operations.
