The NEX®: New updated training leaflet and packaging

As most of us know, and have witnessed first-hand, the agricultural industry has experienced a significant, unprecedented shift over the past few years.

Here at Livetec, we understand the landscape today, and the landscape we anticipate in the future. Both of which look very different to what we have been used to.

As part of the first stage of bringing Livetec into this new future of biosecurity, we’re pleased to unveil the new, redesigned packaging for the Livetec NEX®, alongside a brand new look for our step by step NEX® training and information leaflet.

These new designs reflect our most up-to-date corporate branding, ensuring we’re always delivering the most relevant, timely and useful messages to farmers working across the UK.

Why fix what isn’t broken?

While our look may be changing, the quality of our products and services is not. Despite the redesigned packaging and documentation, we’re not changing anything about the NEX® itself. Our award-winning NEX® was crowned ‘Best New Product’ at the Poultry Business Awards, delivering a number of benefits, such as:

  • Increased weight allowance of up to 5kg
  • Improved throughput, with no restriction on culls
  • Ease of use, with a simple, user-friendly design
  • Scientifically-backed technology built on years of research
  • Approval from the HSA and Red Tractor Standards Assurance Scheme
  • Compliance with WATOK regulations and EU 1099/2009 standards

The Livetec NEX® continues to meet farmer needs; it’s still our award-winning, human dispatching and depopulation device for commercial poultry. What we have done, through our updated literature, is to ensure that we provide the best possible experience for our clients.

With the new stylistic changes, the guide continues to provide everything you need to know about using the NEX® in the safest, most efficient, and most humane way possible. Incredibly informative, the step-by-step instructions cover everything about the Livetec NEX® function, including the process, the grip, placement and positioning of the bird, body posture, movement, and final checks.

The new design is easy to read, simple to understand, and enjoyable to read.

Why the change?

The NEX® device was designed by Livetec following extensive scientific research, and we wanted the packaging and literature to align perfectly with the Livetec brand. This will provide our clients with complete peace of mind that the NEX® has been developed with the same passion and expertise as all services offered by Livetec.
